Kicking off 2025!

Well it’s event season 2025, and we are very excited to back at events and playing with all of you! Shane has been hard at work in the shop these first couple of months and if I say so myself, the toys look fantastic. He is even working on a new item that is sure to make you whistle!

We kicked off the season this past weekend with the N.E.A.C.A. Spring Craft Show and the 1st Farmers Market at The Market at MidCity. Man oh man, what a weekend. The storms tried to keep us down on Saturday, but you all proved that you were ready to get back to playing and we couldn’t be more grateful. Both shows were so much fun because we got to see our market/event friends and of course play with each of you. Remember, N.E.A.C.A. has three shows a year and the Market at MidCity is every Sunday from 12-4pm. Be sure to check our event calendar on our website for shows that we are going to be attending, I am working very hard to keep that up to date so each of you can make plans to come out and play (and add to your toy boxes :)).

Shane is preparing to leave for Conyers, GA for a first time event for us, The 44th Annual Conyers Cherry Blossom Festival, held on March 22-23 at the Georgia International Horse Park. He is very excited to participate this year and Madeline and I will be staying home so we can see our local friends at the Market at MidCity —- divide and concur the weekend :)

On a personal update — Shane has been busy working on a side project as well! He is the co-host of Huntsville’s hottest new podcast, Vendor Chronicles. Shane and Q (a friend of ours who owns and operates Hustle N’ Pop) get together each Monday with their producer, Kevin Richardson (another vendor friend of ours, his wife sets up to us weekly at the Market for her business, Yala, which has the most beautiful jewelry I have ever worn). They are having a lot of fun putting this podcast together and it is available on any streaming service… Give it a listen :)

Do you have a show you would love to see us at? We want to know about it! Please reach out to us by any means and let us know what craft/art shows you want to see us at. We will do our best to research them and apply. We especially are interested in filling our November and December calendar, so those events would be great to recommend.

Also, what do you want to see from us on social media? I am working on uping our game for social media and want to put together what you want to see :) Some ideas I have are behind the scene videos of Shane making the toys and videos recaping the fun we have at each event! I would love to include you in our videos. I will also be sharing the reviews from our social media channels (Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok), so if you love our toys let us know!

Until next time,

Jessica Knox
